I love to display my collections with vintage millinery flowers. A small bouquet of vintage flowers can turn a simple grouping into a special and outstanding vignette. The delicate color variations are soothing and the textures add enormous appeal.

Tiny Forget Me Not bouquets bring back sweet memories of my childhood.
Until my rose garden starts to bloom, I am content to enjoy my indoor garden of velvet and silk roses.
We celebrated American Harvest's 11th birthday on March 7th.

Enjoyed our cakes and cupcakes too....
Surprises in every corner of the store were waiting to be discovered....

Flipped our lids over Party Time...
Got excited with a good book....

and then realized it was time for tea....

With sincere thanks and kind regards for a wonderful and exciting 11 years of passion in decorating, holiday celebrations, and warmest friendships....

Meet The Beatles, I really mean to say Meet Ringo!!!! We have a new member to the Mattern family....meet Ringo! Our son, Noel and daughter-in-law, Sarah have added to their family. Everyone is so thrilled, well almost everyone. Stout and Porter, their black cats are not thrilled. But the kittys are finally coming out of hiding to see the new baby.
Note the rings around his eyes, hence the name "Ringo".

His little ears are outlined with black. Isn't he adorable? He has four white socks too! So now you have met Ringo.
It may be time for you to revisit an old friend, The Beatles. I Want To Hold Your Hand Paw.
I love this album, Meet The Beatles. If you haven't listened to it lately, please do so. It is just as good as it was back in 1964. Trivia time, Meet The Beatles was not the first Beatles' album, the first Beatles album was released a year earlier, do you know the title of the first Beatles' album?
American Harvest Spring Open House was held on Saturday, March 1st. The store was decked out from top to bottom with Easter and Spring decor. A Birthday Party celebration theme illuminated the entire office area as AH will turn 11 on March 7th!. Nicol Sayre was our featured guest artist. We also showcased the original art of Connie Govea Stuart, Donna O'Brien, Ingrid Pomeroy, Debi Ortega, Susan Arnot and Debbee Thibault.
Vintage floral baskets filled with felt party hats, rosettes, and streamers hang from the ceiling in celebration of Easter and Spring.

The Little Prince is one of Debbee Thibault's newest creations.
Our very own Jan Atkins created this miniature quilt using all vintage materials, trims and millinery. Her workmanship is incredible and makes this creation a true treasure.
Nicol Sayre never ceases to amaze us with her magnificent dolls.
Mary (all the way from Arizona), Dalia and Debbie wait patiently for the store to open.
We love our American Harvest groupies! Vivian, Roger, Bonnie, Karin and Marlene headed up the line. Thank you to all for making the Spring Open House a major success. Your loyalty is unsurpassed!
