Yesterday, Donna O'Brien and I ventured out of American Harvest to see the exciting creations at A Cottage Boutique art show. There were many wonderful artists displaying and selling their work. I am not going to list them all for fear that I might omit someone by mistake. But here are a few examples of the fine work at this show.

Stacy French embellished a vintage silhouette with ephemera, vintage frame and vintage easel.

Melissa Tereck's creative "Avril" box made with shells and satin.

Christine Lefever's carton doll.

This is a lovely French wig doll by Christine Lefever.
Connie Govea Stuart's altered art creations - a small book and coin purse complimented with vintage photos and charms.

Jenny Adams Hernandez surprised me with this highly detailed doll that she brought to me at the store as a gift. It was a delight to meet Jenny and I will treasure this gift always.
I am fortunate to have a career that I love and be surrounded by talented artists. It was great to have a gathering of creative women all in one place so close to my shop. My wish is that you will be able to come to Pleasanton and be a part of the special world that I live and experience everyday.

Oh my!..how very nice of you Sharon to have put my little silly on your blog....always so kind!....M

It looks and sounds like you two had a wonderful time. I had seen a few pictures a friend of mine had shared since she also set up there that day. Thank you for sharing with those of us too far away to attend.
