FAIRIES AND FRIENDSHIP

We have had many inquiries and comments about the beautiful Opera Fairy that graces the home page of our website. She also reigns supreme on the wall of the cash and wrap area of our store. The image is enlarged, glittered and framed by an antique Russian window surround. It's HUGE! I have been searching for a way to honor my new found friendships that I have made through blogging and this great image. We have finally found a way to capture her image and share her with all of you. One of our artist has created a charm that has the fairy on one side and the other side reads: The Magic of Friendship ... Enjoy the Harvest. To celebrate the arrival of the charm, I am having a drawing. Everyone who leaves a comment on this post will be entered to win the charm. If you don't win and are interested in the charm, it is available on our website under Wearable Art.
I really appreciate how helpful and encouraging all of you have been. Cyberworld has been a bit overwhelming on top of the day to day requirements of running a store. However, the Dark Side of the Force has proven to be quite bright with new friends I have found in all of you. Thanks for expanding my world with your kindness and friendship.
Here are pictures of the front and back of the charms. The drawing is for the larger charm. I will notify the winner by email on Sunday, August 18, 2007. Please don't forget to leave your email address if you want to enter to win the charm.

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful charm, thank you for sharing her with us. I love fairies and she is the most delightful. Certainly she must be a fairy princess? :)

Please enter me in the drawing, as I would love to have this charm. And she's the "Opera Fairy", nonetheless...as Ella Fitzgerald said, "The only thing better than singing is more singing!" Hope you are both well...

Fairies and charms, two of my favorite things! Please enter me in this drawing, and ask that fairy for a little good luck dust sprinkled my way!

the mystical, dazzling, and just plain enchantment of the picture brought the CHARM

Greetings ~
Such a wonderful 'feast for your eyes' as my Mother always says when we visit your store -but your incredibly wonderful website is just equal as much visual treat. I got lost within the pages with all the great photos, etc. It reminds me that we need another visit to your store. I love the Fairy, and what she stands for - new friendships. It's serenidiptous to make an acquaintence with fellow lovers of crafts/arts/collecting, and each new person expands our circle of friends in life. Thank you.

Sharon: I hope this doesn't post twice. I can't see where my first post went. Anyway, the charm is brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing with everyone.
My best,

Hi Sharon and Rodger!
I was so excited to find your blog! It has been way too long since I've been in the store and I'm planning a trip down in the very near future. We can compare Disneyland notes as I was there for five days in July. Looking forward to seeing you both but in the meantime I love your blog!

I stumbled upon your website recently. Sheer, glittery enchantment! We all need to keep these tangible bits of sweet fairyland enchantments around us ALWAYS; to "ease the sorrow of each day's 'growing'" (paraphrasing George du Maurier). Thank you, American Harvest!

She reminds me of the Royal Court of the annual Maifest (pronounce May-Feast) in the German communities around Washington County TX. I've linked to a photo of one of the past queens.
